CEDDEC TRADE MISSION TO BRAZIL
After the trade missions to Istanbul in July 2004 and Cairo in December 2004, CEDDEC (European Confederation of the Shoe Retail Trade Associations), in collaboration with the organizers of the Couromoda Fair, organized a visit to São Paolo in Brazil which will take place from the 8th to the 15th of January 2005
20 operators took part in this event – one or two for each of the countries represented in CEDDEC.
Each country’s representative will be appointed by their National Association and chosen among the most prominent business people and representatives of the European shoe retail industry.
An important conference, called: “Export to Europe. Opportunity and Challenge for the Brazilian Footwear Industry” will be held at this Fair. Over 800 operators from all over Brazil will attend. Massimo Donda, in his capacity as CEDDEC and Federcalzature (Italian Confederation of Footwear retailers) Chairman, and Tom van Geemen , Mitex representaive and Mitglieder des Aufsichtsrats for ANWR Ariston-Nord West Ring, one of the largest buying groups in Europe.
During their stay, participants will be taken on guided tours of the Brazilian city’s main shopping areas, and will visit the main shopping centers.
